What You’ll Do:- Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
- Assist patients in improving activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, safety awareness, and functional independence.
- Implement individualized treatment plans.
- Document patient progress in the electronic medical record.
- Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Participate in discharge planning and care conferences.
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, state regulations, and facility policies.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Current Iowa COTA license (or license eligible).
- New graduates encouraged to apply.
- Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced skilled nursing environment.
