Towne Place Suites Urbandale is seeking an enthusiastic and service-driven Front Office Manager to lead our front desk team and ensure every guest receives an exceptional experience from arrival to departure. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, enjoys developing team members, and is passionate about delivering outstanding guest service.
What You'll Do- Lead and supervise all front office operations, including guest check-in, check-out, reservations, and guest relations.
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop front desk associates.
- Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards and company policies.
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Monitor guest satisfaction scores and implement improvement initiatives.
- Create and manage front desk schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
- Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Sales to provide a seamless guest experience.
- Assist with revenue management efforts through inventory control, upselling, and rate awareness.
- Oversee cash handling, billing accuracy, and front office reporting.
- Serve as Manager on Duty as needed.
- Minimum of 2 years of hotel front office supervisory or management experience.
- Marriott experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
- Experience with hotel property management systems.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
