R&D Cloud & Information Security Manager

The R&D Cloud & Information Security Manager will be part of our Research & Development Architecture and Foundational Infrastructure department, responsible for developing and integrating robust security practices across our R&D applications' deployment and runtime in the cloud. This role involves both people and technical project management. Candidates should have a strong background in implementing security practices and managing AWS and GCP using Terraform.

• Leading and managing the Information Security and Core Cloud Engineering teams.
• Providing knowledge and training in AWS, GCP, and Azure architecture and security patterns.
• Writing and supporting Terraform for managing Infrastructure as Code and security rules.
• Working with and implementing NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53, and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Collaborating with Engineers and Data Scientists to ensure cybersecurity standards are met.
• Participating in an on-call rotation for team-owned services.

• 3+ years of demonstrated people leadership and project management experience.
• Systematic problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, and a sense of ownership and drive.
• 5+ years of experience in a software engineering or information security role.
• Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems internals and administration.
• 3+ years of experience using Infrastructure as Code to manage AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong background in information security practices and principles.

• Programming experience in Python, Node, and/or C#.
• Experience with the Data Dog observability platform.
