Exchange Engineer

As an Exchange Engineer, the candidate will be responsible for supporting the company's Exchange Environment including both Office 365 and on-premise systems. The portfolio of supported features includes email, SMTP, distribution lists, and shared mailboxes. The candidate will also assist with the operation and maintenance of third-party messaging gateways and platforms such as ProofPoint, Cisco, and Mimecast. Key duties include monitoring usage statistics and system stability, managing escalated incidents, and collaborating across teams to troubleshoot and resolve service issues.

The role involves maintaining the reliability and performance of messaging services, optimizing internal processes, and ensuring effective governance. The Email Engineer will work closely with Microsoft and third-party vendors to ensure service agreements are met and will partner with internal teams to help users make the most of available services and platforms, following established guidelines and policies. A strong focus is placed on enhancing end-user productivity through self-help resources and training.
