Registered Nurse (RN) – Residential Treatment Center

Pay: $45–$48/hour

Nextaff is seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join a dedicated healthcare team at a residential treatment center in Johnston, Iowa. • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in health status.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, behavioral health professionals, therapists, and other healthcare staff.
• Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatment plans, and wellness strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations.
• Promote a safe, therapeutic, and respectful environment for all residents.

• Active Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact RN license eligible to practice in Iowa.
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred, if applicable).
• Previous nursing experience preferred; experience in residential care, behavioral health, mental health, substance use treatment, or long‑term care is a plus.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

12‑hour shifts
