Lab Technician

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Plant Science, Biological Science, Genetics, Horticulture, Biotechnology, or related field.
• Lab experience preferred; experience in plant tissue culture or transformation is a plus but not required.

• Perform and support laboratory experiments, including sample preparation, data collection, and general lab operations.
• Follow experimental procedures and protocols, carrying out tasks independently as needed.
• Collect, record, and maintain accurate, complete, and timely experimental data and documentation.
• Assist in routine sampling, assay preparation, and experiment setup.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and a clean, organized work environment in compliance with safety standards.

• Ability to follow instructions precisely and execute experiments with attention to detail.
• Strong record-keeping and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of general lab operations and safe laboratory practices.
