Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support an innovative biotechnology research team at a leading agricultural science organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about plant science, biotechnology, and laboratory research to contribute to the development and evaluation of novel plant breeding methods.

Working under the guidance of experienced scientists, you will assist with plant tissue culture research, laboratory operations, and experimental analysis in a collaborative research environment.

• Support research activities by creating, executing, and documenting laboratory experiments.
• Process biological samples using aseptic and sterile laboratory techniques.
• Measure, image, analyze, and record experimental results.
• Coordinate sample collection, preparation, and processing.
• Perform plant tissue culture techniques, including plant transformation and propagation.
• Conduct analytical assays on plant tissue samples as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
• Accurately document experimental procedures and results using proprietary and standard software applications.
• Collaborate with research team members to achieve project objectives while also working independently when appropriate.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences or a related field.
• Industry experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant laboratory experience is preferred.
• Experience with plant transformation in an academic or industry setting is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive laboratory tasks with accuracy.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and record-keeping abilities.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and commitment to producing high-quality results.
