Automation Technician

Our client in Johnston, IA is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be completing research to support the agriculture and plant industry. The ideal candidate will have an associate's degree in a science related field and laboratory experience, strong computer skills and the ability to work in a team or independently.

Pay Range: $22/hr

What's the Job?

+ Perform general laboratory operations tasks and provide support with experimental execution.

+ Assist in plant assays including sampling, culture maintenance, and plant care.

+ Utilize lab instruments to analyze samples and record results with precision and attention

+ Perform lab duties related to sterile technique and cleaning procedures

+ Working with insect species at various life stages.

What's Needed?

+ Associate's degree in science related field preferred- new grads encouraged to apply

+ Previous laboratory experience

+ Able to pass a background check and drug screen

+ Able to work with insects
