Laboratory Technician

Our client, a leader in scientific research and biotechnology, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the Plant Transformation Department supporting scientific research and development initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.

Assist technical personnel with routine laboratory operations, data collection, and information management in support of scientific research.

Perform tasks according to established methods, standard operating procedures, and training provided by the work group.

Support plant transformation and tissue culture activities within a laboratory setting.

Maintain accurate records and organized workflows to ensure data integrity and reproducibility.

Contribute to a safe, efficient, and productive laboratory environment through proactive engagement and adherence to safety protocols.

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Plant Sciences, or a related field.

Knowledge of aseptic techniques and a general understanding of scientific principles and laboratory practices.

Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in performing laboratory tasks.

Excellent organizational, planning, and execution skills.

Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
