Goodwill of Central Iowa is looking for a Part-Time E-Commerce Fulfillment Associate to package and ship orders, providing outstanding service using our values of love, kindness, and respect.

• Part‑Time (20‑29 hours/week) hours
• Schedule is Monday through Friday 2pm-6pm + Saturdays from 8 am - 1 pm
• Starting wage of $15.00/hour
• Monthly E-Commerce Associate Bonus eligibility based on department production and revenue goals being met!
• Annual merit increase eligibility based on individual job performance.

• Effective problem‑solving and basic math skills - barcoding device and shipping system experience is a plus!

Our E-Commerce Fulfillment Associates provide outstanding service using Goodwill of Central Iowa’s values of love, kindness, and respect. This position weighs packages, and ships donated goods won at auction on GCI’s sales platforms.

• Weighs, packages, labels, and ships items using both UPS and USPS software and guidelines
• Monitors packing supplies and requests additional quantities as needed.
• Keeps work area organized and clean.
• Safely uses equipment such as conveyors, shipping equipment, wheeled carts, or dollies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Must have high school diploma or be currently enrolled, or a minimum of two (2) years of any combination of military service, high school, or related full‑time paid employment.
• Experience with customer service, shipping, or receiving a plus.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work both independently and with a team effectively and flexibly.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet goals.
• Must be able to perform basic math.
  
  Ability to use a computer or electronic handheld device to enter or retrieve data.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and dependent adult and child abuse background check.
• Ability to occasionally carry, lift, push, or pull up to 40 pounds
• Ability to consistently carry, lift, push or pull up to 20 pounds
• Ability to be in motion, repetitively lift, push, pull, and bend for long periods of time.
• Ability to remain physically active or stationary for extended periods of time.
• Ability to tolerate variations in work environment temperature
• Must have visual acuity to identify and determine quality of selected donations.
• Ability to repetitively use fingers and hands to grasp, feel, and move objects.

• E-Commerce Shift Lead - Assist with directing, coordinating, & monitoring department operations and support employee training.
• Retail E-Commerce Coordinator - Identifies and processes trending/valuable donations to be sold on E-Commerce platforms & coaches in‑store retail team members to do the same.
• E-Commerce Assistant Manager - Manages day‑to‑day department operations and assists with training, coaching, and performance management of E-Commerce associates to achieve goals.
• E-Commerce Operations Manager - Directs department operations to lead, train, and develop employees, champion service excellence, and achieve key performance indicators and revenue targets in support of funding GCI’s mission.
