Our client, a leader in the agricultural research industry, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the Sampling team supporting genotyping projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and strong collaboration skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: Johnston, IA

Pay Range: $22 hour

Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

• Ensure all sampling materials are prepared accurately, timely, and safely.
• Assist with tasks such as cleaning, handling, packaging, and storing seed or samples.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Operate proprietary equipment used in sampling processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and help implement solutions.

• Ability to perform physical, repetitive tasks efficiently.
