As a Security Officer - Flex Unarmed Patrol in Johnston, RI

What You’ll Do
  • Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance issues.
  • Monitor access points and visitor flow, verify credentials where required, and document entries, exits, and unusual conditions per post orders.
  • Complete detailed reports and logs, including incident reports, patrol activity, and follow-up information, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and/or the client as appropriate.
Minimum Requirements
  • Have 1+ years of security experience.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
