Job Description
As a Medical Equipment Repairer in the Army National Guard, you will help ensure soldiers receive the best health care by servicing and maintaining medical equipment, which includes mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, digital, optical, and radiological systems. Specific duties may involve performing preventive maintenance checks, troubleshooting malfunctioning equipment, determining power and space requirements for installations, installing equipment, and preparing and submitting reports.

In the Army National Guard, you learn valuable job skills while earning a regular paycheck and qualifying for tuition assistance. Training includes 10 weeks of Basic Training and 41 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, with classroom and field practice.
