Senior Security Engineer
36 months duration; full‑time contract role. Onsite. W2 only.

Client is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to help secure next generation of connected vehicles. This role will focus on securing embedded controllers, vehicle networks, and cloud‑based services that connect to them, ensuring our products are resilient against evolving cyber threats while meeting global regulatory requirements.
As a senior level engineer, you will operate as a technical leader and security subject‑matter expert, influencing architecture, development practices, and risk decisions across multiple product lines. You will work closely with embedded software, electrical systems, and cloud platform teams to implement cryptographic security controls.
Responsibilities- Define and review security architectures for embedded systems, influencing the design of new features (embedded, cloud and mobile) to ensure that our security needs can be met.
- Design key management, and access control mechanisms for resource‑constrained embedded environments.
- Design and develop new security solutions to support autonomy.
- 8+ years of full‑stack software development experience, including Python‑based backend services.
- Experience with Linux distributions.
- Experience in the application of cryptographic security controls for embedded systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience in the development of IoT devices.
- PKI experience, including certificate lifecycle management and key protection.
- Experience in a Dev Ops role.
- Experience developing AWS‑native applications.
Glider test will be used: test currently being developed.
