Summary:
The FM Global Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, predominantly based in Johnston, RI is responsible for the budgeting, planning, forecasting and operational reporting of the insurance operations for all geographical areas globally.
Schedule &
Location:
The FP&A Internship position is full-time 37.5 hours per week on-site position located at our Corporate Headquarters in Johnston, RI. Start and end date is flexible to meet the needs of the student with a preferred start in May and end date in August.
Responsibilities
:
This role will provide experience that will prepare you for a full-time position in finance by providing you with real life experience in the following areas:
• Budgeting and forecasting for a global insurance organization
• Financial analysis for worldwide operations
• Regular interactions with corporate staff functions and operations worldwide
• Research and reconciliation of multi-currency transactions
• Monitoring corporate projects and tracking expense management
• Development of Power
BI dashboards and budgeting tools
• Assist in other duties as deemed appropriate by your manager
Required
Education:
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Rising senior student
• GPA of 3.3 or higher
Highly Preferred
Work Experience:
• Internship work experience or consistent work experience in a team environment
Required Skills:
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Customer focused
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Skills:
• Proficiency with People Soft
• Experience with business analytics and financial statement analysis
