As an Outpatient Therapist at Ellie Mental Health, located in Johnston, Rhode Island, you'll share our vision for improving and expanding access to quality mental health care and thrive in an environment driven by our core values of authenticity, humor, compassion, creativity, acceptance, and determination.

Ellie Mental Health was founded in 2015 by Erin Pash, LMFT, and Kyle Keller, LICSW, when they opened the first Ellie clinic in Minneapolis. Since then, the Ellie Fam has continued to grow with multiple clinics in Minnesota and many locally owned and operated franchises across the country.

Ellie was proudly founded on the principle of destigmatizing mental health. The mental health industry is full of barriers, and we’ve made it our goal to fill the gap and find innovative ways to break down these barriers for our communities.

Clinicians are welcome to bring their unique clinical skills and modalities. We encourage our clinicians to create a flexible and autonomous schedule that works for them. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mental health practices and communicate effectively with patients in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate should also feel comfortable connecting with the community, networking, and participating in outreach interventions.

• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans under the guidance of a licensed mental health counselor (for pre-licensed candidates)

Competitive income potential of $63,500 to $95,000 per year

• Quarterly team building and staff appreciation activities

• Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create and implement a treatment plan, and complete ongoing documentation, including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy.
• Provide therapeutic services for clients of all ages and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community.
• Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals.
• Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol.
• For Full-Time status, clinicians must maintain a caseload of a minimum of 25 client visits per week.
• Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed.
• Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings.
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions tailored to the needs of clients.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including behavioral and trauma therapy, and incorporate select methods with clients.
• Address gender issues in counseling sessions, fostering an inclusive environment.
