Desired Background &Qualifications:
- Current Physical Therapy license in the state
- Prior experience delivering PT services in schools or pediatric settings
- Knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and relevant documentation
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators and families
- Must be fully vaccinated, ensuring optimal safety for an immunocompromised student
- Compassionate, adaptable, and committed to individualized care
- Provide tailored physical therapy services to a school-aged student during scheduled weekly sessions
- Conduct therapeutic assessments, create treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align therapy with students educational objectives
- Monitor progress closely, adjusting strategies to best support growth and independence
- Document all sessions and maintain thorough, timely records in compliance with school and regulatory policies
- Serve as a resource and advocate for student access, accommodations, and well-being
