Qualifications:

• Current licensure as an SLPA
• Previous experience in school settings preferred
• Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to implement speech and language therapy plans under SLP supervision
• Exceptional organizational and documentation abilities
• Energetic, compassionate approach to working with children and adolescents

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language services to students as directed by the supervising SLP
• Support implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Conduct therapy sessions one-on-one and in small groups
• Assist with screening and data collection to monitor student progress
• Prepare materials and adapt activities to meet students’ varying needs
• Collaborate with educators and parents to create a positive learning atmosphere
