Business Specialist –  Services LLC

Responsible for ensuring that candidates and stakeholders experience the highest level of Customer Obsession in a high-volume hiring environment. Works with the Business Specialist/Business Manager for the line of business to support labor demand plans across multiple sites and optimize labor acquisition strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement labor acquisition strategies including employee class recommendations, labor pool utilization, talent pool conversion, and other channel resources across different Amazon businesses.
  • Partner with local Site Leadership teams (Operations, Finance, Human Resources, etc.) to optimize labor requirements.
  • Audit risk reports for LO accuracy and resolve defects the same day.
  • Execute all Day 1 Denial simulations and maintain a zero backlog.
  • Execute Red Level Changes (RLCs) with zero defects.
  • Execute weekly cadences to ensure LO locks and RLCs processed within SLA and verified for accuracy.
  • Act as the first escalation point for Site and PPT leadership to solve stakeholder problems.
  • Follow documented escalation matrix through SME lanes.
  • Educate internal and external stakeholders on WFS hiring procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to build long‑term partnerships.
  • Maintain awareness of market risk to fill specific site labor order volumes.
  • Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of Workforce Staffing performance via KPIs and produce digestible reports.
  • Use labor planning metrics to proactively identify site/market hiring risks.
  • Provide feedback and insight to leaders regarding process changes or recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor candidate feedback to identify barriers and make real‑time adjustments accordingly.
  • Collaborate with WFS SME team on relevant projects with documentation in Asana.
  • Work a flexible schedule with up to 10% travel.
Basic Qualifications
  • Experience with MS Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Amazon Projects, Word, Slack, and Chime.
  • Bachelor’s degree or at least 2+ years of Amazon experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience within Amazon Workforce Staffing or 3+ years of Staffing/Human Resources focused on high‑volume hiring or staffing initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills; knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
  • PMP certification or similar project management credentials.
  • Excellent business judgment, ability to step back and view long‑term vision for department growth; resourceful and comfortable managing ambiguity.
  • Strong problem‑solving track record with a solid analytical skill set.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments with flexibility and commitment to see projects through to completion.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize competing demands.
  • Innovative and strategic mindset to identify unique solutions to unfamiliar problems.
  • Self‑starter with an eye for detail, deadlines, and reporting.
  • Capability to influence without authority and build rapport.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, with ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous tasks and pivot quickly to changing business demands.
  • Capacity to multitask and manage workload in rapidly changing environments.
Benefits and Compensation

The base salary range for this position is USD 48,800.00 – 85,400.00 annually in selected US locations. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and additional benefits such as health, dental, vision, prescription coverage, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
