Hope Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for inpatient hospice care at the Hulitar Hospice Center.

Work schedule:

3, 12‑hour shifts (7 pm–7:30 am) with every other weekend requirement; 36 hours per week. Full‑time position eligible for benefits.

• Welcomes and admits patients and families to the Inpatient Unit in a professional, compassionate manner.
• Provides comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process from assessment through discharge.
• Develops, initiates, and revises individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team.
• Re‑evaluates patient/family/caregiver needs regularly and responds to changes.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed; initiates prevention and therapeutic nursing procedures.
• Maintains accurate, timely documentation of patient condition and care delivered.
• Monitors patient status, reports changes to physicians and supervisory personnel, and records pain/symptom management outcomes.
• Facilitates activities of daily living, promotes self‑sufficiency, and provides health counseling as appropriate.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team, assesses patient environment, and educates about home safety when discharge planned.
• Precepts two‑three shifts per week during the first two‑three months.

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred). RN license required.
• 1–3 years of related nursing experience.
• Strong nursing assessment, clinical, and communication skills.
• Experience in hospice care and/or related settings preferred.
• Proficiency in medication dosage calculations.
