Up Closets, a leading provider of custom closet solutions is seeking a closet installer trainee helper to join our team. We are looking for someone passionate about creating functional and beautiful spaces that meet each client's unique needs.
Pay- $18.00 - $22.00 per hour/project as a 1099 Independent Contractor not a W-2 Employee
- Performance-based project completion bonuses available
- Hours determined by project scope and timing/flexible hours
- Reliability, punctuality, and an eagerness to learn the Custom Closet installation trade.
- Familiarity with a variety of tools and equipment used in closet installations a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Vocational or technical training in carpentry or a related field preferred
- Experience with custom carpentry and cabinetry a plus
- Install custom closet systems in clients' homes or businesses according to design specifications
- Driving Van to/from Installation sites, assisting with loading materials.
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Provide exceptional customer service and communication throughout the installation process
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Follow company policies and procedures related to installation and customer service
