Equipment Operator
Responsibilities- Maintains and operates heavy equipment to perform excavation tasks as instructed.
- Greases machines on a regular basis.
- Operates different forms of equipment including the backhoe, loader, skid steer, excavator, paver, etc.
- Checks equipment regularly for malfunctions and reports any issues to the supervisor.
- Daily maintenance of machines including the fuel and grease.
- Performs operational duties in a safe manner.
- RI or MA Hoisting License
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to stand for extended hours of time
- Excellent communication and observation skills
- Familiar with use of power and hand tools
- Ability to follow directions
- Must have a strong work ethic
- Monday thru Friday 6:30am to 3:30pm
- Occasional Weekend/Night work available based on projects
- Most work done in the peak construction season of Spring thru Fall
- Overtime available and based on project schedule or needs
- Paid weekly
- $38.00 to $39.00 per hour based on experience and ability
- Salary: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour
