FM is seeking a Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead our AI Software Engineering Enablement team. In this role, you will build and scale platforms, tools, and practices that empower engineering teams to deliver reliable AI-powered products faster. You will define technical strategy, own the roadmap, and guide multiple squads delivering CI/CD, experimentation, and observability for AI services. You will hire and mentor engineers, promote engineering best practices, and partner closely with product and data leaders to align enablement capabilities with FM's AI initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor AI software engineering teams focused on enablement platforms and tooling
- Define and drive technical strategy for AI engineering enablement across FMPartner with product, data, and IT teams to deliver scalable AI development platforms and CI/CD pipelines
- Establish best practices for code quality, testing, observability, and reliability in AI systems
- Own roadmap, prioritization, and delivery of enablement features that improve developer productivity
- Recruit, onboard, and develop engineering talent; foster a culture of learning and experimentation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align enablement capabilities with business goals and AI initiatives
- Monitor platform performance, reliability, and security; drive continuous improvement
