Customer Service Representative – Order Management Specialist Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative – Order Management Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting customers through phone, email, and online communication channels while managing order processing, purchase orders, and order status updates. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong critical‑thinking skills, and maintains a high level of accuracy when handling customer orders.
Note:
This is not a data manipulation role. This position focuses on order management, purchase order processing, and customer support.
- Support customers via telephone, email, and online chat with order placement, order status updates, and product information requests.
- Enter and manage customer orders accurately within the order management system.
- Process customer transactions and maintain accurate order records.
- Monitor, review, and release assigned order holds.
- Respond promptly to inquiries regarding pricing, shipping, product availability, terms and conditions, and order tracking.
- Identify and document potential sales opportunities and leads.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through professional and efficient communication.
- 1–2+ years of recent experience in customer service, order management, order entry, customer support, or related fields.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling multiple order line items.
- Excellent critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and Outlook.
- Coachable, adaptable, and willing to learn new processes.
- Comfortable working through challenges and learning from mistakes.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce, Oracle, or Oracle Fusion.
- Bilingual in Spanish or French.
- Technical aptitude or strong interest in technology.
- Experience supporting customers in retail technology, electronics, technical support, or similar environments.

- Strong communicators with a customer‑first mindset.
- Comfortable learning new systems and technology.
- Able to maintain accuracy while managing a high volume of orders and requests.
