Youth Sports Site Supervisor - Johnstown

The YMCA is seeking Youth Sports Site Supervisors.

Salary: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour based on experience, availability and certifications. +10% differential for bilingual staff fluent in Spanish and English.

• Ensure program participants are learning introductory skills through the rules of play and the Y Way to Play.
• Assist in parent interaction.
• Ensure the program is running smoothly and safely with all activities starting and ending on schedule.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Age 16 years or older.
• Significant involvement and understanding of the sport.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification within 30 days.
• Ability to organize and engage groups of children.
• Know how to break down a skill and explain it so that participants can understand and perform the skill.
• Ability to communicate and work with a variety of people including kids, staff, other host staff, and community members.
