Compensation: $165,000 per year

Schedule: Full-time | 7 Days On / 7 Days Off

What You'll Do

As a Certified PA, you'll serve as a key clinical provider in LTACH setting, delivering high-quality care to patients while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Performing comprehensive physical exams and reviewing medical histories
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, including laboratory work and imaging
  • Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Prescribing medications and developing individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborating with physicians, nurses, therapists, and facility staff
  • Educating patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care
  • Documenting patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record
Who Should Apply?

The ideal candidate should be:
  • Comfortable practicing in a complex inpatient hospital environment.
  • Confident managing medically complex patients with multiple comorbidities.
  • Familiar with ventilators, tracheostomies, respiratory failure, sepsis, and acute inpatient medicine.
  • Comfortable recognizing and managing urgent clinical situations while working collaboratively with specialists.
  • Familiar with electrolyte management, particularly in dialysis patients.
Qualifications:
  • Current PA (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Current DEA registration or willingness to obtain prior to start date
  • Interest in geriatrics, internal medicine, family medicine, or post-acute care
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Self-motivated with a patient-centered approach
