• Ensure that production employees are instructed and trained in the care and safe operations of equipment.
• Review records and procedures to ensure proper use of time and materials and perform continuous inspection of products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Ensure that all equipment is in good operating condition.
• Promote positive relations and interdepartmental communication and cooperation.
• Position may be responsible for operating the facility metal detector(s); the operator must be fully trained and certified.
• Ensure a safe working environment for all personnel through enforcement of safety policies and procedures, including inspections and periodic safety meetings.
• Occasionally work in place of employees who are out sick or on vacation.
• Plan and adjust work assignments of personnel to cover all phases of production.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area.
• Ensure compliance with all company rules, policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.).
• Perform other duties as directed by supervision.
• Complete AIB Master Baker Correspondence Course.
• Perform other duties deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures.

• Two (2) or more years experience in all areas of plant production work.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
