Overview

Charge Nurse – Full Time – Johnstown, Colorado. Northern Colorado Rehabilitation Hospital is a state‑of‑the‑art inpatient facility specializing in stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, orthopedic conditions, and other complex medical issues.

The hospital is located in Johnstown, Colorado, offering year‑round outdoor activities and easy access to the vibrant cities of Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley, and Denver.

Position

House Supervisor – responsible for administrative supervision of nursing services on the assigned shift, supervising and coordinating activities of nursing personnel, and providing professional nursing care to patients within the assigned unit.

Qualifications
  • Current state Registered Nurse license required.
  • Current CPR Certification required.
  • One (1) year recent experience required; acute care setting preferred.
  • ACLS certification preferred.
Additional Qualifications/Skills
  • Knowledge of and adherence to current nursing theory and practice, infection control, and wound care standards.
  • Knowledge of accreditation standards (TJC, CMS) to ensure adherence to state and accrediting agency requirements.
  • Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures, and utilization of proper policies, procedures, and guidelines in patient care.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking skills.
  • General computer skills including data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
  • Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
  • Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards.
Responsibilities

The House Supervisor is responsible for administrative supervision of nursing services on the assigned shift, supervising and coordinating the activities of nursing personnel to maintain continuity of patient care, and providing professional nursing care to patients within the assigned unit. The role integrates the hospital’s mission and guiding principles into daily practice.

Compensation

USD $41.23 per hour (minimum) – USD $48.49 per hour (maximum).
