Facility:
This medical center is a well-established healthcare facility featuring a Level 1 trauma center and Level 3A NICU with helicopter services. The facility operates as part of a multi-specialty group with comprehensive maternal-fetal medicine services, including a robust certified nurse midwife program and extensive support staff including neonatologists and midlevel providers.

Physician - Maternal-Fetal Medicine

Job Details:

• Seeking experienced perinatologist for MFM coverage starting April 9-13 with additional dates throughout the year

• Must maintain active PA state license and PA DEA

• Board certification through ABO+G with subspecialty in MFM required

• Successful completion of ACGME or AOA accredited OB/GYN residency and MFM fellowship required

• Practice in both inpatient and outpatient settings with Epic EMR system

• Handle approximately 30 outpatient encounters and 10 inpatient encounters per day

• Manage 2 admissions and 2 discharges daily with average of 5 deliveries per week

• Respond to C-sections within 15 minutes when required

• Work alongside 6 providers including 2 perinatologists, 3 OB/GYN, and 1 GYN physician

• Certified nurse midwives handle first call responsibilities

• Extensive specialty skills preferred including high-risk pregnancy management, diabetes, cardiac disorders, and multiple gestations

• Perform advanced procedures including amniocentesis, cervical cerclage, intrauterine transfusion, and ultrasound interpretation

• Required certifications include ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS

• Credentialing timeframe approximately 10 days

• Hospital arranges lodging accommodations

• Access to Latrobe or Pittsburgh airports
