Job Requirements (Maternal-Fetal Medicine / Perinatology)
Experience:
Experienced perinatologist preferred
Licensure: PA State License
DEA: Active PA DEA
Board Certification: Board Certified in OB/GYN with subspecialty certification in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
Training: Completion of ACGME/AOA-accredited OB/GYN residency and ACGME/AOA-accredited MFM fellowship
Required

BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, ABLS
Preferred Clinical
Skills:
High-risk obstetrics management (PIH/HELLP, diabetes, cardiac/pulmonary/renal/neurologic disorders, autoimmune/hematologic conditions), VBAC, placenta previa/abruption, multiples; vaginal deliveries, C-sections, instrument-assisted deliveries, vaginal breech delivery; advanced MFM procedures including amniocentesis, cerclage, ultrasound performance/interpretation (Level II/targeted imaging), fetal echocardiography, chorionic villus sampling, fetal blood sampling, intrauterine transfusion, and multifetal pregnancy reduction
Responsibilities (MFM Physician)
Provide Maternal-Fetal Medicine consultation and co-management for high-risk pregnancies across inpatient and outpatient settings
Support clinic and hospital coverage needs, including timely response for obstetric emergencies (15-minute C-section response expectation)
Collaborate with OB/GYN, neonatology, midwives, and NICU teams to ensure coordinated maternal and fetal care
Perform and/or interpret MFM imaging and procedures as clinically indicated (including targeted ultrasound and fetal echocardiography)
Document patient care accurately and efficiently in Epic in accordance with clinical standards
