Overview

As an OB/GYN with our organization, you will provide vital 24-hour call coverage during designated dates, supporting patient care when it matters most. You will be responsible for managing complex obstetric cases, performing essential surgical procedures, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The position offers a flexible, non-in-house call model—allowing you to support patients remotely while ensuring optimal care delivery. Required Skills

MD or DO degree with valid medical license in relevant state(s)

Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Proven experience in obstetric and gynecological procedures, including C-sections, operative vaginal deliveries, tubal ligations, and circumcisions

Ability to handle high-acuity obstetric cases such as labor management post-cesarean and antepartum care

Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with midwives, emergency departments, and consulting physicians

Competence in EMR systems, specifically EPIC, for seamless charting and documentation

Nice to Have Skills

Experience with maternal transport coordination

Advanced or subspecialty training in maternal-fetal medicine (MFM)

Previous prior experience working in a hospital setting with OB/GYN surgical responsibilities

Ability to supervise deliveries with epidurals or oversee procedures involving Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs)

Preferred

Education and Experience

Medical degree from an accredited institution

Minimum of 2 years of clinical OB/GYN practice post-residency

Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Other Requirements

Availability for scheduled call coverage from June 18, 2026, and subsequent dates throughout the summer and into August

Ability to work independently with minimal on-site presence during call shifts

Willingness to travel for licensure, certification, or additional reimbursements where applicable
