Description
The Production Technician is responsible for performing hands‑on mechanical assembly of components, subassemblies, and finished products in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions. This role includes assembling electro‑mechanical systems, ensuring proper fit, alignment, and functionality of parts, and supporting overall production quality and efficiency. The position requires a hands‑on individual who is comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and collaborating with engineering and production teams to support a variety of technical projects.
The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, takes pride in hands‑on work, and brings a positive attitude to a production team environment.
- Perform assembly of electronic and mechanical components according to technical drawings, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Operate production equipment and tools used in manufacturing processes.
- Conduct testing, inspection, and troubleshooting of assemblies and systems.
- Support prototype builds and engineering development projects.
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Collaborate with engineering and production staff to resolve technical issues and improve processes.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with mechanical or electronic assembly in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings, schematics, or work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
- Occasionally lift or move up to 45 lbs.
- Wear personal protective gear most of the day.
- Work in moderate environment temperature and noise level.
- Regularly work around moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, with possible loud noise.

$17.20 - $21.00 hourly
