American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position at a Level 1 trauma center, requiring a PA or compact RN license and 3+ years of OR experience.

• Level 1 trauma Operating Room unit with 22 beds
• Serves all patient ages
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Common procedures include Ortho, Gyne, OB, Plastics, General, Cardiovascular, Neuro, Urology, Breast, and Podiatry surgeries
• Uses EPIC EMR
• Varied day shifts including 9-5, 11-7, 1-9, and 3-11, plus weekend daylight shifts
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend or as needed
• Call required one to two times per week in 8-hour increments
• Floating required as needed

• Active RN license (PA or Compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CPI/HWC certification required
• Minimum 3 years of OR experience required
• Charge RN experience preferred
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred
• Robotic surgery experience preferred

• Work at a tertiary care regional referral hospital with Level 1 Trauma Center and Level 3 Regional Intensive Care Nursery designations
• Blue scrubs provided; casual attire not permitted
• Weekly orientation held every Monday
• All required background screenings, including PA Child Abuse History Clearance, FBI/DHS fingerprinting, and PATCH State Police Clearance, must be completed and cleared before start
• Candidates must live 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
