American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a Level 1 Trauma Center, requiring PA or compact RN licensure and prior trauma/critical care experience.

• Emergency Department setting in a Level 1 Trauma Center with 40 beds
• Treats all patient populations including trauma cases
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Uses EPIC EHR system
• Varied shift schedule including days, nights, and mid shifts
• Weekend work required every other weekend
• No on-call requirements
• No floating required

• Active PA or compact RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; CEN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience required
• Trauma and critical care experience preferred
• AHA certifications required
• Must complete PA-specific clearances including Child Abuse History Clearance, Department of Human Services Fingerprinting, and PATCH State Police Clearance
• Drug screen must be completed within 90 days of start
• No declinations accepted for MMR or TB screening
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

• Provide emergency nursing care across all patient populations in a fast-paced, high-acuity trauma setting
• Must be willing and able to work all shift types including days, nights, and mid shifts
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
• Team player mentality valued within the department
• Any scrub color accepted
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
