American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at a Level 1 Trauma Center requiring PA or compact RN license and ACLS/PALS certification.
Details- Level 1 Trauma Center Emergency Department setting
- Treats all patient populations
- 40-bed unit with 1:6 patient ratios, up to 1:7 depending on ED holds
- Night shift, 7p-7a
- Every other weekend required
- No call requirements
- No floating required
- Uses EPIC EHR
- Active RN license (PA or Compact) required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; CEN preferred
- Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience required
- Trauma and critical care experience preferred
- Basic nursing skills required
- PA Child Abuse History Clearance and fingerprinting (Department of Human Services and FBI/Department of Aging) required prior to start
- PATCH (PA State Police) Clearance required
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- Provide emergency nursing care across a wide range of patient populations and acuities in a high-volume Level 1 Trauma Center
- Team player personality valued within a collaborative ED team
- Scrubs of any color accepted
- Weekly orientation held on Mondays
- Must be 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel rate; otherwise local rate applies
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
