Act 235 Armed Security Officer

Location:

Johnstown, PA

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

Part-Time | 16 Hours Per Week

Friday and Saturday 8:15am - 4:30pm

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct routine patrols of the facility and surrounding property

* Monitor access points and control authorized entry and exit

* Maintain a visible security presence to deter unauthorized activity

* Observe, document, and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, and policy violations

* Respond promptly and professionally to alarms, emergencies, and incidents

* Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs

* Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards

* Interact professionally with staff, visitors, contractors, and emergency personnel

Qualifications

* Prior security experience is preferred but not required

* Strong observation, communication, and decision-making skills

* Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and sound judgment

* Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accountability

* Professional appearance and demeanor

Requirements

* Valid Pennsylvania Act 235 Armed Certification

* Ability to successfully pass a background investigation

* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

* Reliable transportation to and from the work location
