Pay Rate: $16.50 per Hour

Schedule

* Monday & Tuesday: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

* Wednesday & Thursday: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable Armed Security Officer to help maintain a safe and secure environment at a school facility in the Johnstown area. This position is ideal for individuals who value professionalism, accountability, and public safety.

Responsibilities

* Conduct routine patrols of the facility and surrounding property

* Monitor access points and control authorized entry and exit

* Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, and policy violations

* Respond appropriately to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents

* Complete accurate incident reports and activity logs

* Maintain a visible and professional security presence

* Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols

Qualifications

* Prior security experience preferred but not required

* Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills

* Ability to remain alert and professional throughout assigned shifts

* Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and sound judgment

* Ability to interact professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors

Requirements

* Current Act 235 Armed Certification or willingness to obtain certification through company-sponsored opportunities for qualified candidates

* Ability to successfully pass a background investigation

* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

* Reliable transportation to and from the work location

* Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
