Junior Accountant

We are a growing service company in search of a Jr Accountant to join our growing, multifaceted organization. You will take on tasks and projects that will enable you to develop and enhance your accounting, finance and communication skills, as well as have the opportunity to grow within the company.

We have traditionally seen the Jr Accounting role grow into various roles such as operations manager, general manager, regional manager, SR accountant and COO. We are a family owned and operated company with 13 sites spanning across 6 states.

This Jr Accounting position will contribute to the Accounting/Finance function for multiple Recycling company locations. This individual will work on inventory, weekly performance reports, trending costs, and other bookkeeping/accounting projects and duties as assigned.

• Prepare weekly performance reports for multiple entities.
• Record journal entries related to various entities.
• Prepare monthly reporting for various entities.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for multiple entities.
• Assist in special projects.

• BS/BA in Accounting or finance required.
• Multi-tasker, with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work well in a deadline oriented environment.
• Working knowledge of accounting systems and MS Office products.
• Potential travel in the future of 25% of the time.
