Senior Tax Accountant

Jobot is a full‑service accounting and business advisory firm headquartered in Oakbrook Terrace with additional offices in Chicago and Joliet. We serve family‑owned and closely‑held businesses across the entire life cycle, from audit and tax to consulting services. Hybrid work schedule;
Salary $80,000–$110,000 per year. Base salary with performance‑based bonus, 401(k) with profit‑sharing, comprehensive benefits, generous PTO, health & wellness time, paid holidays.

• Engage with clients and staff to drive proactive tax planning.
• Prepare and review business, fiduciary, and individual tax returns.
• Manage income‑tax correspondence and build strong client relationships.
• Train and mentor staff, improving return‑preparation efficiency and growing tax expertise.
• Analyze complex technical tax issues to guide client decisions.
• Gain exposure to foreign taxation, sales and use tax, and payroll tax.

• CPA or EA designation required or actively pursuing one.
• Progressive experience in the tax department of a CPA firm.
• Strong background in preparing individual and business tax returns.
• Experience reviewing returns prepared by others.
• Skill in tax research across multiple resources.
