Financial Consulting Supervisor – Real Estate Accounting

• Serve as a key point of contact for clients' Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash, and Month End Close cycles
• Work in client technology environments and within the FaaS technology stack
• Lead, manage, and coach client services representatives, associates, and senior associates
• Support clients' month-end close processes, including reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including month-over-month variance analysis and budget-versus-actual analysis
• Analyze and interpret financial information for client management and provide actionable insight and decision support
• Identify opportunities to enhance clients' monthly operations and suggest process improvements
• Understand the technology stack and identify add-on processes, systems, modules, and integrations to improve month-end close efficiency
• Define and document repeatable methodologies with tools and templates for future projects
• Establish engagement budgets and manage engagement economics
• Direct initial assessments, implementations, and onboarding of new FaaS clients
• Participate in meetings with new client prospects and the proposal process
• Oversee and manage billings and collections of client services invoices
• Work to deadlines across month-end close, financial reporting, year-end audit support, budgeting, and forecasting activities
• Maintain client contact with CEOs, COOs, CFOs, VPs of Finance, Controllers, tax providers, and professional service providers

• A minimum of a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance is required
• Experience performing and reviewing property-level accounting and finance functions
• Experience working with property managers to resolve accounting issues, address concerns, and explain variances
• Expertise in real estate technology systems such as Yardi and MRI
• Excellent communication skills across all levels of an organization and functional areas
• Ability to balance multiple responsibilities simultaneously
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
• Progressive experience in accounting and financial management in a real estate accounting environment
• Experience in roles such as accounting supervisor, assistant controller, controller, director of finance, or CFO
• Experience in real estate development projects and construction accounting processes, including job costing and draw package submissions
• Strong technical financial accounting knowledge, including GAAP, NCREIF, and FMV
• Strong management accounting and operational finance knowledge
• Experience in FP&A, including financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong time-management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a growing, dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Experience with automated accounting systems such as Yardi, MRI, Black Line, Flo Qast, and Basis
• CPA preferred but not required

Capable of leading client services teams and enhancing operational efficiencies through technology integration and process improvements.
