We are seeking an experienced Field Superintendent to coordinate and oversee day-to-day construction activities on site. The role is responsible for subcontractor coordination, safety compliance, inspections, quality control, progress monitoring, site documentation, and supporting the project schedule.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Construction Superintendent, Project Management Team, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure construction activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project quality and schedule requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate subcontractors and daily construction activities across the project site.
  • Host daily Plan of the Day (POD) meetings with contractors to review planned activities, priorities, constraints, and safety requirements.
  • Enforce OSHA requirements, company policies, and recognised construction safety best practices.
  • Lead by example and address safety non-compliance involving employees, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Record and maintain weekly toolbox talks and daily Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs).
  • Maintain accurate project documentation in Procore, including daily logs, photographs, RFIs, observations, punch lists, weekly meeting minutes, three-week look-ahead schedules, deliveries, quantities, and manpower.
  • Receive site deliveries and record all bills of lading and associated documentation in Procore.
  • Perform daily construction inspections to verify compliance with project drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Conduct milestone inspections at key stages of construction.
  • Perform mock‑up inspections and document findings.
  • Host weekly progress meetings with contractors and key project stakeholders.
  • Prepare meeting minutes and distribute them to relevant stakeholders.
  • Perform weekly SWPPP inspections and additional inspections following qualifying rain events.
  • Work closely with internal and external project teams to ensure established quality standards are consistently achieved.
  • Work closely with the Senior Construction Superintendent and Project Management Team to maintain project schedules and acceptable construction quality.
  • Monitor subcontractor manpower, productivity, quantities, and daily progress.
  • Identify schedule constraints, construction issues, and potential risks and elevate them appropriately.
  • Manage observations and punch-list items through completion and close‑out.
  • Communicate effectively with contractors, consultants, project managers, and other project personnel.
  • Share lessons learned, field experience, and industry best practices to continuously improve project design, construction, and operations.
  • Assist the Senior Construction Superintendent with geotechnical activities and push/pull testing.
  • Assist with pre‑construction site surveys and utility walkdowns.
Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience as a Field Superintendent, Construction Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or similar site‑based construction role.
  • Strong experience coordinating subcontractors and multidisciplinary construction activities.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices.
  • Experience performing construction quality inspections and managing punch‑list activities.
  • Strong working knowledge of Procore for construction documentation and project controls.
  • Experience preparing and managing three‑week look‑ahead schedules.
  • Knowledge of SWPPP inspection requirements and site environmental compliance.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Strong organisational, planning, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to identify construction problems and implement practical solutions.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, schedule, and continuous improvement.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience supporting large-scale construction, infrastructure, industrial, renewable energy, or EPC projects.
  • Experience with geotechnical activities and push/pull testing.
  • Experience conducting site surveys and utility walkdowns.
  • Experience working closely with project management, engineering, contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary construction teams.
