Teach Anatomy and Physiology courses (lecture and lab) for pre-nursing, pre-allied health, and science majors from August 24, 2026 - December 18, 2026. The University of St. Francis is a welcoming community of learners committed to enhancing diversity and equity.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAdjuncts are responsible for course planning and instruction. In addition, adjunct faculty are responsible for student evaluation, and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.
Minimum Requirements- Master of Science degree in related field
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position
- Willingness to support the Catholic and Franciscan values of the university
- Prior experience teaching biology courses at the college-level
- Available to teach during the day (8am-5pm)
- Doctoral degree in related field
There is some flexibility based on availability; courses could be taught during the day (preferred) or evenings. All classes are face-to-face with online support, and laboratories include hands-on and inquiry-based components.
Physical Requirements of PositionWork is performed in classroom and laboratory settings with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards. Substantial time is spent working on a computer. This is sedentary work which requires the following physical activities: sitting, walking, bending, stooping, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual acuity.
