K-8 Technology Coordinator/Teacher

The Cathedral of St. Raymond School in Joliet, IL is seeking candidates for a part- or full-time K-8 Technology Coordinator/Teacher for the  school year. The Technology Coordinator/Teacher supports the mission of the Catholic school by integrating technology into the curriculum while promoting responsible, ethical, and faith-centered use of digital tools. This position combines leadership in instructional technology with direct teaching responsibilities, ensuring that students and teachers use technology to enhance learning, creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking.

Position

Purpose:

The teacher is considered a ministerial employee by their role working in a Catholic School and agree to work diligently to support and strengthen the Catholic Church and its value system. By word and example, Catholic school employees support all the official religious teachings of the Catholic Church throughout their personal and professional lives. Teachers agree to play a substantial role in conveying the Catholic Church's message and carrying out its mission.

Education and Experience:

Candidates must hold a current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or a valid out of state certificate from a state with which Illinois has reciprocity. Holds a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Elementary Education or a related discipline that is applicable to the teaching assignment. Practicing Catholic preferred.

Annual Salary Range $31,824 - $58,352 (Prorated based on % of full-time equivalency) Final salary will be determined by relevant teaching experience and relevant education

Works in standard office and school building environments but also has ability to work outdoors during outdoor student activities.
