Position Type: Full-Time Role ~ 37.5 hrs/week

Job Description: Seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Libertyville, IL. This full-time contract role involves working with a diverse K-8 caseload, implementing specialized instruction and support tailored to each student's needs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth.
• Provide differentiated instruction in core subjects and life skills.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's preferred).
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with LBS1 endorsement (or eligible).
• Experience with diverse learning needs, including behavioral and cognitive disabilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
