Ready to make a difference in an inclusive learning environment? Clarifi Staffing Solutions is partnering with an Illinois elementary school to hire a full-time Special Education Teacher for the upcoming school year. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team dedicated to helping students achieve academic, social, and personal success.
This position supports an elementary inclusion classroom serving 2nd and 3rd grade students. As the Special Education Teacher, you will work closely with general education teachers to provide individualized support, adapt instructional materials, and implement strategies that help students access the general education curriculum while meeting their unique learning needs.
You'll play an integral role in developing meaningful educational experiences by fostering an engaging, inclusive classroom where students are encouraged to build confidence, independence, and lifelong learning skills.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Monitor student performance and maintain accurate progress documentation.
- Differentiate instruction and classroom accommodations to meet diverse learning needs.
- Deliver specialized instruction and classroom support within an elementary inclusion setting.
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on instructional planning and intervention strategies.
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages academic growth and student engagement.
- Partner with classroom teachers, families, and related service providers to promote student achievement.
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Previous school-based experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Learning Behavior Specialist I (LBS1) endorsement, or eligibility to obtain state licensure.
