Overview
Kid Strong helps parents build stronger, smarter, more athletic kids. It is a milestone accelerator for children up to 11 years old, guiding parents to discover their child’s superpowers and build future‑ready confident kids who thrive socially and academically.
Kid Strong McDonough is rapidly growing, and we are looking for a talented, enthusiastic Children’s Coach passionate, energetic, and excited to engage with parents and kids and make an impact on their lives.

- Coaching experience preferred; ideally with kids 12 months to 11 years old
- Focus on brain, physical, and character development based on monthly curriculum
- Communicate with parents/guardians about the “why” behind the Kid Strong curriculum
- Classes run weekdays 9 am–11 am and evenings until 7 pm; weekends 8 am–noon
- Flexible work schedule depending on studio needs
- Opportunities to increase hours through private party coaching
- Experience as a pediatric OT/PT is a plus but not required
- Coach class sizes of 6 to 15 children, ages 12 months to 11 years
- Teach the Kid Strong curriculum as provided by the HQ programming team
- Ensure classes start and end on schedule, following curriculum pace
- Greet students and parents at start of class
- Maintain a dynamic, fun, motivational, and professional demeanor
- Demonstrate and manage exercises
- Maintain cleanliness of center, including lobby, bathrooms, and equipment
- Use the KS Coach’s App to record class data and provide records for parents
- Communicate professionally with co‑workers via Slack
- Complete required training through Fran Connect
- Work in a physically intensive environment; may cover miles during sessions and lift up to 25 lb equipment
- Provide hands‑on support for safety and technique
- Assist parents of children three years or younger with class flow
- Attend monthly staff programming meetings for curriculum updates
- Attend additional mandatory meetings as required by the Kid Strong Director
- Learn and manage Coach Kid Strong Academy special classes during school breaks
- Obtain certified status from the HQ Training and Certification team
- Passion for working with children
- Prior coaching experience with the appropriate age group preferred
- Experience speaking to and educating parents about the Kid Strong curriculum
- Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics
- CPR certified
Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills - Self‑starter who gets the job done
- Enjoy public speaking (optional)
$13.00 – $25.00 per hour.
