Anatomy & Physiology Adjunct Faculty Fall 2026
Salary: $905 - $930 per credit hour
Teach Anatomy and Physiology courses (lecture and lab) for pre‑nursing, pre‑allied health, and science majors from August 24, 2026 to December 18, 2026. The University of St. Francis is a welcoming community of learners committed to enhancing diversity and equity.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAdjuncts are responsible for course planning and instruction. In addition, adjunct faculty are responsible for student evaluation and for the timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.
Minimum Requirements- Master of Science degree in a related field
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position
- Willingness to support the Catholic and Franciscan values of the university
- Prior experience teaching biology courses at the college level
- Availability to teach during the day (8 am‑5 pm)
- Doctoral degree in a related field
There is some flexibility based on availability; courses could be taught during the day (preferred) or evenings. All classes are face‑to‑face with online support, and laboratories include hands‑on and inquiry‑based components.
Physical Requirements of PositionWork is performed in classroom and laboratory settings with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards. Substantial time is spent working on a computer. This is sedentary work which requires the following physical activities:
- Sitting
- Walking
- Bending
- Stooping
- Finger dexterity
- Repetitive motions
- Talking
- Hearing
- Visual acuity
