Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is working with a school district in Illinois that is hiring a Special Education Teacher to support students for the upcoming school year. This is a full-time position offering support, flexibility, and benefits.

Position Details

• Full Time
• K-12 Caseload
• W2 Contract with Benefits

Supportive school and clinical team

• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 or appropriate Special Education endorsement required
• Previous school-based special education experience preferred

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to support student success.
• Provide specialized instruction tailored to students' individual learning needs and goals.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to ensure appropriate student support.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, IEP compliance, and required special education records.
