School Psychologist Intern Temporary

Position Guide:

Non-certified Personnel

10 months (208 Days )

Description:

Psychologist Intern works with District 86 Psychologists to assist building teams in implementing RtI, building - wide behavioral systems, IEP process and supporting social / emotional component of educational needs. The Joliet Public Schools provides a progressive educational environment in an urban multicultural community serving preschool through 8th grade children. A Response to Intervention Model is currently being implemented across the district.

The intern will be provided with experiences in the areas of individual/group counseling, consultation, screening, evaluation, intervention, and eligibility and IEP conference participation. High school experience will also be provided.

Requirements

Must be enrolled in a State approved Psychologist Program Bilingual Preferred

The noise level in this environment is quiet to moderate. Duties are performed primarily indoors and occasionally outdoors.
