Position Overview

This role offers the opportunity to lead structural engineering projects from concept through construction while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on a wide range of building projects.

This position is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys technical problem-solving, client interaction, and mentoring junior engineers, while working in an environment that values innovation, autonomy, and professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead structural engineering projects from concept through construction completion.
  • Develop structural designs, calculations, reports, and construction documents.
  • Prepare and coordinate structural models and drawings using BIM tools such as Revit.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and developers to deliver efficient and innovative design solutions.
  • Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals, and perform site visits as required.
  • Manage client relationships and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering (structural focus).
  • 2–10+ years of experience in structural engineering for building projects.
  • Strong understanding of structural systems, materials, and assemblies.
  • Experience with structural design software and BIM tools
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Experience managing projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
  • Interest in sustainable and efficient structural design.
